Biography of the Reverend Jacquelyn Gilbert Rowe

I am a compassionate pastor, preacher, teacher, and administrator. My ministry is Christian Outreach and I serve as Program Consultant for churches and private non-profit organizations that assist children and families, focusing on program development, implementation, and project
funding for ministry visions.

I have served as Rector of The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Mobile Alabama, and St George Episcopal Church Riviera Beach Florida where I also served as Executive Director of the St George Community Services Center (a non-profit corporation).

Prior to Ordination and Seminary Studies, I was employed for 24 years in increasingly responsible administrative work with Miami Dade County. My municipal career included such positions as: Assistant to the County Personnel Director, Chief of Administration of the Corrections Department, Chief of Administration and Human Resources Coordinator of the Fire Dept, and Head Start Center Director, (each of which included grants administration).

Education: Master of Divinity, The General Theological Seminary of the Episcopal Church, 1998. B. A., Human Resources Management, Pepperdine
University 1978.

I love children, and have two sons who are professional Firefighters and who coach Little League Football. I enjoy folk dancing and singing (especially choral music), and have sung with The Palm Beach Chorale and The Miami Oratorio Society. I love to walk along the waterfront.
