Help with Pictures

The pictures on Christ Church's website actually reside on a computer owned by Picasa . Our website automatically links to this computer so it appears that the pictures are all on one computer. This allows us to more easily create on-line slide shows and provides you with the ability to get your own copies of any picture you would like.

To View Pictures:  

  1. Click on the link Latest Pictures on the Church's homepage, OR click on the New Pictures link in Church Chat . 
  2. A screen similar to the one on the left will appear. Simply click on the selected album cover to see the pictures in that album.
  3. A screen similar to the one on the right will appear. Next, above the first thumbnail picture, click on the word "Sideshow".
  4. Press function key 11 (F11) for a full screen view.
  5. Press function key 11 (F11) again to return to the normal screen view.
  6. You can pause the slideshow on a particular picture at any time by clicking on the II symbol at the bottom of the screen. Click again to restart the slideshow.
  7. You can click on "Web Albums" located to the right of the word Picasa to return to album selection.
 

To Copy Pictures to your computer:

  1. View the album's pictures as above.
  2. Pause the slide show (see above) on the picture you want 
  3. Right click your mouse and select "Save Image As ..."
  4. You will then be prompted for a file location. Type a name for the file and then click Save.
  5. You now have a copy of the picture on your computer.
 

To Order Prints:

  1. Click on the Church Album you want.
  2. Click on Print (to the right of Slideshow), then on the submenu Order Prints .
  3. Remove the pictures you don't want in your prints.
  4. Select a print provider (We suggest Walgreen's).
  5. The Order screen appears and your selected pictures are in the lower part of the screen. You can deselect again and/or pick different sizes.
  6. Click on Continue.
  7. You will be asked to set up an account including your credit card data (if you don't already have one) at the store where you will pick up your pictures.
